Anne Lassahn founded LFS in 2001 and has been successfully providing fiduciary services to San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties ever since. She has been on the referral list for the probate court in San Mateo County since 2004, and she brings many years of business management and care service experience from the five years she ran a home care agency and the two years she was in upper management at a very large retirement community. Her unique background allows her to serve her clients with absolute professionalism and extreme compassion.

Kelsey Stiles is the CFO for Lassahn Fiduciary Services and became a Partner in 2014. Ms. Stiles has been a Private Professional Fiduciary and Accounting Manager for LFS since 2010. She specializes in probate and trust administration, conservatorships and accountings. Ms. Stiles earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2009 where she was also a four-year member of the nationally ranked, Cal Poly Women's Club Volleyball Team. In the spring of 2008, she studied abroad in Thailand where she developed an interest in different cultures, food, people, as well as international business relations. Ms. Stiles is the current President of the San Mateo County Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) Chapter after serving as the Treasurer from 2016-2018. Kelsey was also the Varsity Volleyball Coach for Aragon High School in San Mateo from 2010-2018 (2018 CCS Champions). Ms. Stiles enjoys cycling, hiking, waterskiing, playing volleyball, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, husband (Marlon) and kids, Taylor (2018) and Kaisa (2020).

Karin Stiles re-joined Lassahn Fiduciary Services in 2019 after her pursuit for her CPA License at a public accounting firm in Mountain View, CA. She specializes in tax administration and planning for trusts & estates, individuals and businesses as well as preparation of court and forensic accountings. Karin earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Chico where she was a member of the nationally ranked Chico State Women’s Club Volleyball Team and was Treasurer of the Team for two years. She is a board member of the Swedish Club of San Francisco Bay Area and an active volunteer for Cake4Kids, a non-profit delivering birthday cakes to underprivileged children. Karin and her sisters founded The Dave Stiles Foundation, a non-profit in memory of her father to support local schools and community members. In her spare time Karin enjoys traveling, hiking, baking and teaching indoor cycling classes.

Jenice Downend joined Lassahn Fiduciary Services in May of 2015. Mrs. Downend is the head of the Accounting Department at LFS. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Notre Dame de Namur University in 2015 with a Business Administration - Management concentration. Prior to working at LFS, Jenice had been in the hospitality management industry for over ten years. In her free time Jenice dances with a Tahitian dance group in San Francisco. She had the opportunity to travel to Tahiti in July 2018 & November 2022. Jenice recently obtained her Fiduciary License in July 2024 and is currently an associate member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) & the San Mateo Bar Association.

Joanie Girouard started working for Lassahn Fiduciary Services in 2013. Prior to that, she spent over twenty years in the title and real estate industry and she is a licensed real estate agent. Ms. Girouard enjoys working with the elderly and handles all of the personal property for our clients, as well as the real property clean up and sale preparation. In her spare time, Joanie enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Nicole re-joined Lassahn Fiduciary in January 2022. She worked for LFS from 2014-2019 and then took time off to stay home with her two children. Prior to working at LFS, Nicole studied Business/Real Estate and Land Use at California State University Sacramento and worked at Wells Fargo Bank for 11 years. She’s an avid Waterfowl Conservationists who spends a lot of her free time outdoors with her husband and 2 children.

Laura Callagy, MA, CMC is the Director of Care Management at Lassahn Fiduciary. Prior to joining LFS in June 2021, Laura has 25 years of past experience serving the elderly population. Laura worked at an adult day health program and for the Federal government in both the Social Security Administration and the Medicare program. Laura earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a certificate in Gerontology from Santa Clara University and a Master of Arts degree from San Francisco State in Gerontology. She is a certified care manager and member of ALCA. She has a graduate certificate from UC Berkeley in Aging and Mental health and a graduate certificate in Palliative Care from the University of Colorado. She completed the certificate program in Fiduciary Management at Cal State Fullerton in September 2023. She has served on the Ombudsman board of directors and the San Mateo County disabilities board. Laura enjoys working with her clients. In her spare time, she enjoys her family which includes her husband Mark and her five children.

Heather Calonico is the Assistant Care Manager for Lassahn Fiduciary Services. Prior to joining LFS in January 2022, she worked as a Patient Care Coordinator in Stanford’s Oncology department for five years. At a young age she knew she wanted to work in the medical/healthcare field so care management is the perfect fit. Kelly Bartholomew is the administrative assistant for Lassahn Fiduciary Services. Prior to joining LFS in September 2022, Kelly worked as a banker and an assistant in a medical office. She also has her certificate in medical billing and coding. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time at home with her family.
